By participating in any event, program, virtual session, meetup, or activity organized by Mamas Connect Support Network Inc., I acknowledge and agree to the following on behalf of myself, my child(ren), and any guests or dependents who attend with me, whether minors or adults.

1. Voluntary Participation (Self, Children & Guests)

I understand that all Mamas Connect activities are voluntary. I am choosing to participate, and I am choosing to allow my child(ren) and any guest(s) accompanying me to participate at our own discretion and risk.

2. Assumption of Risk (Self, Children & Guests)

I understand that participation by me, my child(ren), and any guest(s) may involve risks including but not limited to:

• Slips, trips, falls, or physical injuries

• Interaction with other adults and children

• Outdoor conditions such as weather, terrain, or uneven surfaces

• Activities involving walking, stroller use, or light exercise

• Emotional discomfort during peer-support discussions

• Accidents involving children

• Risks associated with participating in group events in public or private spaces

I willingly assume all risks for myself, my child(ren), and any guest(s) I bring.

3. Personal Responsibility (Self, Children & Guests)

I agree that I am solely responsible for:

• Supervising my child(ren) and any guest(s) I bring

• Ensuring their behaviour is safe and appropriate

• Making decisions that suit their physical needs, limits, and wellbeing

• Monitoring them during all activities, both indoor and outdoor

I understand that Mamas Connect does not provide childcare, supervision, or professional oversight.

4. Release of Liability (Self, Children & Guests)

I release Mamas Connect Support Network Inc., its founder, leadership team, volunteers, event hosts, and partners from any liability, claims, demands, or damages arising out of or connected to participation by:

• Myself

• My child(ren)

• Any guest(s) or dependents I bring

This includes claims related to:

• Personal injury

• Property loss

• Accidents

• Emotional distress

• Illness

• Discomfort

• Damages occurring during or after participation

I understand that this release applies even if the injury or loss occurs during a Mamas Connect event, activity, or meetup.

5. No Guarantees or Professional Advice

I understand that Mamas Connect does not provide medical, mental health, legal, or professional guidance. All peer support and shared information is for general use only.

6. Media & Photo Consent (Optional)

I consent to Mamas Connect using photos or videos that may include me, my child(ren), or guest(s) for community recap and promotional purposes unless I opt out in writing.

7. Agreement

By participating or registering, I confirm that:

• I am the legal parent/guardian of any minors I bring

• I have informed any adult guest(s) that they are attending at their own risk

• I accept full responsibility for them

• I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver

• This waiver applies to all future participation unless revoked in writing
